I have crafted an easy recipe that will have you whipping up Chinese chicken and rice like a seasoned pro in no time!
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
2 cups basmati rice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, grated
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Spring onions for garnish
Chinese 5 spice
Cumin
Smoked paprika
Instructions:
Cook basmati rice according to package instructions.
In a wok or large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger
Toss in sliced chicken and red bell pepper, stir-fry until chicken is cooked through.
Pour in soy sauce, season with salt and pepper, cumin, smoked paprika and Chinese 5 spice.
Serve the chicken stir-fry over a mound of rice, garnish with sliced spring onions
